"Stand at the crossroad
     and look;
Ask for the ancient paths,
Ask where the good way is,
And walk in it,
And you will find
    rest for your souls."
                    Jeremiah 6:16

     The community and people of the Morse Church unite around the following commitments:

Worship — to regularly participate in a weekly worship service.

“Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy”.

Grow — to start with the Alpha Course and go on into a small group.  We believe life in community is at the heart of the Christian faith.

“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion . But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up.  Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken.”

Serve — to find a way to serve others appropriate to your giftedness.

“Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.”

Give — to serve as stewards and return to the Lord proportional to your income.

“A portion of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord. “
